My Story
I’m a wife, a mother of three amazing children, and someone who has always had a genuine love for skincare, fragrance, and all the little things that make taking care of yourself feel special.
Fancy Bee Beauty started with a fairly simple thought: Why am I paying big companies for products I could learn to create myself? So I did.
I started with bath bombs and soap, wanting more control over the ingredients, fragrances, textures, and overall experience of the products I was using. What began as curiosity quickly turned into something much bigger. I fell in love with the learning. Understanding ingredients. Studying formulation. Taking classes. Testing ideas. Tweaking formulas. Figuring out why something works—or why it absolutely does not—and going back to try again.
There is something incredibly satisfying about starting with an idea and eventually holding the finished product in your hands. I take a great deal of pride in everything I create, and I never want to stop learning. Formulating has become both a creative outlet and a way for me to reset. And, true to form, one little experiment has been known to inspire three more ideas and occasionally an entire collection.
Fancy Bee Beauty has grown far beyond those first bath bombs and bars of soap, but the heart behind it has stayed the same: Create thoughtfully. Keep learning. Make beautiful things people can actually enjoy. Every product carries a little bit of that curiosity, care, and creativity with it.

Before a Fancy Bee Beauty product earns a place in the shop, it has to earn my confidence first.
I personally use and evaluate my products, and I also rely on feedback from family, friends, and a group of real human product testers who help me assess things like feel, fragrance, texture, performance, and the overall experience.
Their feedback matters. If something needs adjusting, I go back to the formula and keep working. I don’t believe in selling something simply because I made it. It has to be something I feel good about putting my name on and something I would happily give to the people I care about.
And yes, Fancy Bee Beauty products are cruelty-free and never tested on animals. Because, between us, I’m still pretty fond of the animals.

Every bar, bottle, and jar is thoughtfully handcrafted in Minneapolis, Minnesota with care, attention, and a whole lot of intention.
From formulation to fragrance to the final finishing touches, each product is created to feel like a small moment of luxury in everyday life. I take my time with the process, thoughtfully creating each product in hopes that it brings a little more comfort, joy, beauty, or simply a well-deserved moment of indulgence to someone’s day.
Whether the experience is fresh and energizing, soft and comforting, deeply relaxing, or simply beautifully indulgent, the goal is always the same: to make everyday self-care feel a little more special.
